Artist Georgi Tsenov is a Bulgarian painter and educator living and working in Glasgow. He holds a Master of Arts degree from Sofia University and has exhibited extensively internationally. We’re delighted to welcome him back to Six Foot Gallery with fifteen of his deliciously intricate oil paintings.

Stylistically, Georgi’s paintings toe the line between Cubism and Realism. Many of the pieces depict vibrant domestic scenes or urban snapshots in bright technicolour; on the surface they echo a still life, but on a broader level they evoke the novelty of everyday living.

My biggest artistic influence has been the amazing sculptor and person; my father, Tseno Tsenov. He was the one that opened the door and showed me the magnificent world of art. He encouraged me to travel through this incredible realm.
