Chris Corish’s painting & digital work explores the relationship of colours and shapes, drawing on influences from modern and postmodern art.

Chris Corish has exhibited in galleries across the UK and further afield including multiple solo exhibitions. He has shown his work at prestigious venues including The Liver Building in Liverpool, Brisbane City Hall in Australia and St Fagan’s and The Senedd in Cardiff. In 2022 Chris’ community mural was also unveiled by Jane Dodd MS at the front of the Community Hub building in Borth. In June 2022 he competed in the Northern Ireland heat of Sky Landscape Artist of the Year competition.

Born in Wrexham, North Wales, to an Anglo-Welsh family Chris was brought up in Shropshire, Croydon, and Surrey. He lived in and around Aberystwyth since 2016, until his world travels began with his partner Jaz in April of 2023. Chris is currently on a working holiday in Brisbane Australia, but has strong ties to West Wales, Liverpool, St. Helens Croydon & East Surrey and works with clients in England, Wales & internationally.

A key motivation for work and art services is bringing affordable art to the people. I have been fortunate to have many inspirational influences, teachers as well as fellow artists and family over the years. The supportive community aspect of the art world is important.
